Foyer
The studio waiting room is a large foyer with multiple desks and chairs to seat seven. From the waiting room, parents may watch directly and listen clearly to their child's lesson through the 6' X 3' plate glass studio door. While observing the lesson, they can also work with their other children at a long, desk-level countertop that seats four. Coloring books, crayons, paper, pencils, scotch tape, children's books, small toys are available for children as well as reading material for parents: Time, Newsweek, Scientific American etc. The favorite seat in the waiting room is at the PC station. Students may listen to music as they peruse the Upscale website and parents may view the on-line lesson schedules. The PC is set-up as a kiosk, which allows student access the Upscale website only. Access to the internet is available to parents and adult students upon request. The foyer also has a drafting table where teenage students can do their homework or work on large art projects.
Piano Room
From the waiting room, parents may watch directly and listen clearly to their child's lesson through the 6' X 3' plate glass studio door.
There are two chairs inside the studio where parents may sit-in and observe the lesson. If a parent prefers to, they may sit along-side the teacher at the keyboard and watch the lesson close-up.
