Students are taught individually. Lessons are paced to meet the specific needs of each student.

Even though there's considerable financial gain associated with the group lesson format; herding students into large groups is, without question, an ineffective way to teach piano.  Individual care, constant attention and absolute focus on the student are required.

Initially, students must be monitored for correct hand and finger technique and advised on how to most effectively read music notation. Once proper technique is established, every, single note of a student's lesson must be carefully listened to and, when appropriate, critiqued in order to impress upon the student the importance of expressive musical phrasing and accurate musical timing. These details require one-on-one attention, so a tutored lesson with a competent teacher is the only way to go.
